Day 2: Huntsman Olympics

After wrapping up the second day of the Huntsman Olympics, DPhiE  leads with 240 points! Yesterday’s Scavenger Hunt and Tag a Sig events had Olympians running madly about Bridgewater. This evening’s Trivia Night saw the teams exercising their minds with questions in various categories. Stay tuned to see how the Olympics unfold!

The Huntsman Olympics are upon us again! We are thrilled to have the Huntsman Olympics return for the third year in a row! Make a team, and sign up below! Let’s raise a boat load for cancer everybody!

Since our inception, Sigma Chis have endeavored to give back to our world. The Huntsman Olympics is Theta Zeta’s unique take on this Fraternal tradition. Through a week long series of fundraising events driven by the spirit of philanthropy and excited with a little friendly competition, registered teams who have donated to our cause compete to take home the glory of Olympic Gold.

Help Us Support Relay for Life!

Click here to support our relay team!

Theta Zeta will be participating in BSU’s Relay for Life this Friday, April 8 from 7 PM to 7 AM the following morning. Although the Huntsman Cancer Institute is Sigma Chi’s primary philanthropy, we brothers at Theta Zeta couldn’t justify sitting idly by and letting an equally worthy cause go without support. As of Tuesday evening, we have raised $1,431 for the American Cancer Society.

Teams are encouraged to fundraise at the relay by running a booth with a unique, enticing good or service in exchange for a small donation. Theta Zeta has decided to run a Guitar Hero booth, where players will compete for the high score to win a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card. Only $1 per song attempt!

We hope to see you this Friday! IH.

Theta Zeta Supports Kappa Rho Chapter’s Derby Days!

SKAU

Monday afternoon Theta Zeta received an unusual Facebook request from sisters of the Sigma Kappa sorority at American University in Washington D.C.: Can you send us pictures of yourselves? There was, of course, a point to this request. Competing in Kappa Rho Chapter’s Derby Days, teams were tasked with collecting pictures of Sigs holding a sign reading “Sigma Kappa American University.” We had to oblige! Hello from Bridgewater, MA!

Alumnus Chris Saikali Visits Pledges

Chris Saikali (Bridgewater ’12) visited the Theta Zeta chapter this evening to offer his wisdom to the Spring 2016 pledge class. Heading a focus group on leadership, Magister Nick Abbondanzio invited Saikali to offer his perspective on the past, present, and future of our chapter. A former Kustos, Magister, and Consul, Saikali gave his advice on maximizing the potential of this year’s operations, as well as achieving our chapter’s strategic goals.

17 Active Undergraduates of Theta Zeta fit coming out to support the Bridgewater-Raynham High School Swim Team into their busy schedules between classes and a Rush event later in the evening. I (Brodey Moran) have been up since 0430, but nothing could make me retire before getting these posts up on our website! Today was an absolute blast meeting new Rushes; I speak for all the Brothers when I say we cannot wait to continue Spring 2016 Rush tomorrow!
